Inspired by a macro film of green droplets. Every form is generated. Light bends through the liquid and catches its surface. Hold empty space to grow a new drop, then release to keep it. Grab it to drag. Choose Gather and drag anywhere to gently draw nearby liquid together. Drag droplets together to grow a pool. Double-click or double-tap to scatter smaller drops, then gather them again. Open Shapes to add experimental hard ceramic or soft jelly. Hold a soft shape to press a dent into it. Choose Move to carry it around. Pause and let the light settle.
The field opens in Dance. Grab a drop to take over, then choose Dance to watch again. Adjust lets you change the amount, from a few spacious drops to a crowded surface. Sampling adds detail for a more powerful computer. Record pauses playback to render a clean 1080p or 4K film, frame by frame.
A procedural study of surface-fluid motion and studio light. No video or image textures are used.
